Inspired by Zhong Kui, a legendary guardian figure in traditional Chinese folklore, this brass lighter case brings an ancient symbol of courage, protection, and strength into a contemporary everyday object.
The sculpted portrait captures Zhong Kui with flowing beard, expressive features, and richly detailed garments, surrounded by traditional cloud motifs that reinforce the mythological atmosphere of the design.
Rather than treating the lighter simply as a functional object, the design transforms it into something meant to be carried, handled, displayed, and appreciated as a small piece of sculptural metalwork.
BRASS OUTER CASE ONLY — lighter insert and lighter fluid are NOT included.

Solid Cast Brass & Antique Hand Finishing
The lighter case is crafted from:
C23000 Brass
The substantial brass construction provides a solid hand feel while allowing the deeply sculpted relief details to retain clear definition and dimensional depth.
After casting, the surface undergoes polishing, antiquing, and hand-finishing processes. Raised areas are selectively highlighted while recessed details retain darker tones, creating a natural contrast that emphasizes the sculptural artwork.
The antique brass finish gives the case a warm, aged character rather than the appearance of a newly polished decorative object.

Sculptural Zhong Kui Relief
The design brings together several elements inspired by traditional Chinese visual culture:
Deep sculptural portrait of Zhong Kui
• Traditional cloud motifs
• Layered armor, robe, and facial details
• Antique recessed contrast
• Relief artwork extending across the case surface
The relief is designed to reveal different details depending on viewing angle and light, giving the case a strong sense of depth when examined up close.
Due to the traditional casting, antiquing, polishing, and hand-finishing process, slight variations in dimensions, weight, color tone, oxidation depth, and surface details may occur.
These subtle variations are part of the individual character of handcrafted brass products and should not be considered defects.
Package Contents: Brass outer case only
